In a recent experiment, it was clear that the physical abilities of the subject of this experiment, a professional taekwondo athlete named Kodai Kuriyama, significantly improved while using Kurumira.
The experiment measured the following abilities of Kuriyama:
・Long jump
・Strength measurement
・Sprinting
・Eye and body coordination (dynamic visual acuity)
The results were as follows:
Long Jump
This is the record from the standing long jump.
Before Kurumira: 2.78 meters
After Kurumira: 2.78 meters
You might be thinking, “Huh? No change!” But actually, this measurement was taken after the other tests were completed.
In other words, the pre-Kurumira measurement was taken while Kuriyama was not yet fatigued, while the post-Kurumira measurement was taken after considerable fatigue had built up.
The fact that the same result was achieved under fatigued conditions suggests that Kurumira had a positive effect. What do you think?
Strength Measurement
Regarding the strength measurement, I’ll keep it brief as there are many technical terms involved.
This test measured the strength of the quadriceps and hamstrings.
The results showed that after using Kurumira, Kuriyama’s strength increased in three areas compared to before, and the risk of muscle strains was also reported to have decreased.
Sprinting
The study then measured Kuriyama’s:
1.Maximum speed
2.How well that maximum speed can be maintained
Here are the results (the closer the maintenance rate is to “1,” the better the endurance):
The maximum speed increased by 0.4 km/h, and the maintenance rate improved by 0.03.
As mentioned earlier, the pre-Kurumira measurement was taken when Kuriyama was not fatigued.
Even so, the results showed improvement with Kurumira.
Eye and Body Measurements
This measurement method involves touching orange dots that appear on the screen with your finger.
A total of 60 dots randomly appear on the screen, similar to a whack-a-mole game.
We measured:
1.How many seconds it took to touch all 60 dots
2.How many dots were touched correctly
Here are the results:
Surprisingly, the time it took to touch all dots decreased, and the number of correct touches increased!
As in the other sections of the study, the pre-Kurumira measurement was taken when Kuriyama was not yet fatigued.
